entertaining, reply value, game changing, trend setting

it did something that will always be duplicated but never replicated in our lifetimes, you have to salute off that alone unless you too busy hating
We tried to tell them early to. This is history in the fukkin' making! :damn:
If you can't appreciate that your whole perspective is wack. lol

I give them the ambitious long story arc. :ld:

But a lot of them films were forgettable, and a lot of them were solely carried for the Thanos arc. :manny: Without it, the draw would have been a lot more limited.
I went back and watched some of the weaker movies like avengers 2 and Thor 2 and I enjoyed them more since I knew where they fit and where the story was going. They took whole movies to push the plot along , on a certain level i gotta respect that

I been saying no single MCU movie is classic but the entire MCU is fukkin' classic.

I wouldn't say it's "great" but it doesn't have to be. They're fun, entertaining pop corn movies. They're not trying to be some high water mark in cinema.

I think "impressive" is a better word. What they did leading up to "Infinity War", and now again with "Wandavision" also tying into the story....is unprecedented.

So Cal
The fact that dcu is trash and they get graded on a curve for being a comic movie. I don't think none of the movies are "great". There's some good ones but the majority are mediocre at best.

The continuity as well as the attention to detail from movie to movie. The way each movie leaves you thirst for the next one. With all that said the only truly great mcu movies to me personally are avengers, infinity war, winter soldier and Thor Ragnarok. The first avengers movie was incredible and changed cinema forever while infinity war had the perfect blend of action, plot and adventure. Winter soldier we all know as the goat non avenger movie and Ragnarok to me was blessed by watiti and is one of the most original movies in the mcu. Also the way they changed Thor’s image basically saved the character as those first two movies were killing Thors mystique and even Loki had become more likable to some people and also gave us a REAL hulk until he turned p*ssy in infinity war

Like everybody has else had said the planning and attention to detail and rewatch ability . Watched Civil War again the other day and they bring up not knowing where Thor/Banner were which made me turn on Ragnarok after :blessed:

The future tho is shaky for me as a casual tbh a lot of the newer heroes do nothing for me and with the real life loss of Chadwick :mjcry: I just don’t see the interest being there for me going forward. I hope Hemsworth plans to stick around for more movies as Thor he needs to stick around as the glue that holds it all together

They managed to apply the certain aspects of the comics to film. That includes long-term story telling, character crossovers and progression and increase in spectacle. MCU has also been pretty good at casting the characters.

It's almost close to accurate depiction unlike many comicbook movies like with FOX, Sony and Universal.
