A few observations from last night.
I went to bed in third quarter after the Doug Pederson decision to go for it instead of the field goal on 4th down and down 17 to 3. I had a strong feelin it was all over at that point.
1. I told y all nikkas this was not going to be an easy game against a Superbowl winning quarterback and headcoach in Seattle.
2. I said one of the keys to the game was Pederson vs. Carroll. Dumb Doug cousin to Andy Reid reared his ugly head last night. Terrible game plan, terrible decision making and terrible clock management.
The game plan was stupid as fukk especially early on. You have 2/3 of the legion of boom out, with Byron Maxwell and a Rookie Corner out there and this guy Doug decides not to be aggressive and bold in the passing game and turn the game into short passes and running the ball alot early on with Blount and Ajayi. If I am him, I am airing them out early and often, putting pressure on them. That would also Neutralize Wagner with that front 7 forcing them to Blitz more.
I'm watching the highlights, down 17-10 4th and long on like the 50 yard line. Wilson scrambled made a lateral pass to get a first down. And Doug does not challenge, critical play with momentum on ur side. U gotta challenge that!!! Even if its not obvious
To think You challenge a spot about 4th and inches in the first half when Carson can easily QB sneak and lose that but don't challenge that ?!
Don't get me started on that clock management leading up to the half.
Doug was coaching erratic and scared all night. The loss had a lot to do with him.
3. Russell Wilson is an incredible talent, his ability to extend plays really helped to neutralize the pass rush. They were getting there but he has an unique ability to extend plays. Whenever u extend plays like that, the secondary can do nothing but hold past a certain point. Not tryna see that nikka in the wildcard round or divisional game. He is like the perfect QB against our defense.
4. That Darby PI call early was still some B.S. That call was wild. That being said. The game was called fair in comparison to that Carolina game. Insignificant in the grand scheme of things but just wanted to bytch about that still.
5. Carson needs to work on his accuracy. I have noticed that he is not hitting receivers in stride on some throws to wide open catches. I saw a few to Agholor last night where he left some meat on the bone. The talent is there, he just needs to perfect these little things to be more consistent.
And u can't fumble on the goal line, gotta protect the ball especially in the red zone. Another Critical play in the game.
6. Big game from Agholor. His progression is not a mirage. Completely different player and they need to utilize him more to sustain winning. He is our most dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands. After last year, who thought I would be saying that
Don't panic byrdgang, like the KC loss earlier, this was a good loss at this point, hope they learned a lot from this one. Good preview of a playoff game type atmosphere. I think we were feeling ourselves too much and I'm sure the team was too. Puts things in perspective.
Better it happen here than in the playoffs when the stakes are much higher.
Also showed our flaws which aren't glaring like a bunch of teams still in the hunt. Wat I saw last night was a poorly coached game that cost us more. Doug shyt the bed in this one.
On to the rams, gotta win that one to keep home field in our sights. Winnable game. Not going to be easy but it's winnable. Our trouble seems to be those mobile quarterbacks and Goff is not one, so I like our chances in this one.
Their defense is the real deal tho, especially that front seven again. Hopefully Doug rebounds after his big fukk ups last night.
One game at a time brehs
And on the bright side, even when we lose, we still screw over the c00nboys.
For those of y all still in our threads monitoring us.. Good luck getting that last wildcard now bishes
If cowboys win out and eagles lose out
We win the division right ?
