Next season its gon be insane..I have a feeling Rasul will eventually work as a safety esp with Jenkins prolly retiring soon (some of the negatives athletically wouldnt matter if he played safety)
Jenkins not even 30 yet, he can still go 3-5 years...

Jay Ajayi unhappy? 'Shut up and tote the ball'

Y all see something wrong with what he said:patrice:....

Philly media needs to chill here, I didnt see anything wrong with the interview. They tryna create some narrative that is not there. One thing is that our fan base is passionate but when they get bored they like to create drama. The team is good, let them live Didinger.

The media had a big part in that whole Donovan T.O. Drama. They tried to do it earlier this season with that whole Jim Schwartz trying to take Doug's job angle.

From what I saw, Ajayi seemed more pissed at himself for the fumble on that long run that Agholor picked up for the score... He looked really pissed when he was on the bench after the play..... understandable.

Also from what I saw, he was in the game alot on those play action plays and some passing downs. He just didnt get too many carries which was likely the game plan.

They probably wanted to feature Blount against this team in particular and Ajayi knew this. So i dont think he would be pissed about something he likely knew coming into the game.

I think he is still the biggest threat we have coming out of the backfield against most defenses. That bears run defense is decent and Blount is better suited against that kind of defensive front the bears have (those ones who have big, strong and slow guys up front). This was evidenced by Blount's 15 carries for 97 yards on runs mostly up the middle. Ajayi before that big run had negative four yards on four carries.

On top of that, clement only had four or five carries and was in the game less than Ajayi i think.

If he was irritated at all, I dont think he was irritated by the number of carries. It was more about the fumble.

That being said, Ajayi needs to learn to ignore negativity, this is not Miami and the philly media and fan base are a different beast and they're ruthless at times. :ufdup:If he has a bad game, they gonna remember that Clowns comment.

Eagles' rush defense proves elite once more against run-heavy Bears

The Eagles have been exceptional all year against the run. They were No. 1 in the league before this game. And against a top-5 rushing attack, they showed why. "It would have been pretty cool to hold them to negative-six," Tim Jernigan said. "I wouldn’t have been complaining.” As it was, the Bears finished with their fewest rushing yards in 65 years — since they had one rushing yard in a loss to the Rams in 1952. It was the fewest rushing yards the Eagles have allowed in 71 years — since they held the Boston Yanks to minus-26 yards in a win in 1946. Historic stuff. And it happened against a Bears team that came in fifth in the NFL with 132 rushing yards per game and sixth with 4.5 yards per carry. So much for those numbers.

these next 2 weeks will tell us exactly how good or great this defense is (seahawks then rams coming up)

contain both and im all the way on the superbowl bandwagon
Tbh I think we gonna blowout Seattle unless our defense get too tired or something. Rams are the true test. We beat them by at least 2 tds and no one can doubt us. Not even :skip:
