No Sophomore Slumps In Wentzylvania - Official Philadelphia Eagles 2017-18 Season Thread

I'm only 20 now and was too young to really witness that early 2000 era with Iverson and McNabb. I remember us losing the SB and crying all night, like deadass tears, but pretty much anything before 2006 is a blur to me. What we have going on now is so beautiful and the fact that this is just the beginning of it makes it even more special. All I really have in my life is 2008 from the Phillies, never seen any of my teams win a championship other than that. I live about 45 minutes outside of Philly, I'm in Pottstown if yall know where that is that but I'm always down in the city for whatever I can make it to sports wise. Hometown fan no matter what, bleed green for as long as I can remember.

Man Idk where i'm going with this I just got done work a lil bit ago and started drinking to wind down the day and been thinking about our teams man shyt got me emotional rn smh

man i got on the eagles back when i was 13

mcnabb and the boys just stunted on back in this game and i was a fan ever since



and the parallels are crazy. we got a defense just like then. we got three headed monster running backs just like then. wentz abililty to make plays and escape is on mcnabb levels. the shyt you see him doing is just what donny used to do. except we have better wrs no trash and stinkston "losing the ball in the lights"

enjoy this shyt man its special. our experience might come back and bite us come playoff time but hell why not us man. every superbowl team story is different and it'd be one hell of a story for a team led by a 2nd year qb to win the superbowl (especially when we beat brady and wentz becomes the next brady passing of the torch )

We got brehs getting baptized and riding there bikes together before games

Props to Howie, that power struggle made him make sure he never loses power. Has made all the right moves since the chip mess
