as soon as i saw the report that "teams" are kicking the tires on Calvin Johnson....as an Eagles fan I KNEWWWW howie rosemand was in there prying

wonder if that report is true. Wonder if its a reality, and even worth pursuing at this stage in the game. If Calvin was never working out or planning to come back, its a waste of time to pull him off the retirement couch and try to get him to come back. But if he's been prepping already for a comeback (unlikely) then its worth looking at

The Eagles added some significant offensive weapons in the offseason. A new report indicates they’d like to add another offensive weapon during the season. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, however, that report isn’t true.

Steven Albritton of KMBC in Kansas City reports that the Eagles are “aggressively pursuing” the rights for retired Lions receiver Calvin Johnson. Again, the source says that’s not the case.

Johnson retired after the 2015 season. Though he has from time to time said things that could be taken as a hint of a willingness to play for a contender, there’s no indication that he actually wants to play.

If he did want to play in 2017, something surely would have happened well before the final hours before the trading deadline. The story regarding the mere possibility of a trade seems to be a final-Sunday-before-the-deadline headline generator, with no real meat beyond the notion that perhaps one or more teams kicked the tires by calling the Lions.

The Lions likely would be willing to trade Johnson, since they’ll never get anything from him if they don’t. If Johnson wants out, however, he merely needs to show up in Detroit, which would instantly resurrect his $16 million base salary from 2016 and force the Lions to decide whether to keep him, trade him, or cut him. After Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET, the option of trading him disappears until March.

I am going with this brehs, seems farfetched

His salary, he hasnt played in a year, no whispers before today, this team is 6-1, all factors to call these reports of the eagles aggressively pursuing as bull shyt

I like Megatron but if they have to prioritize something it should be the O-line. Team has shown that they can score and have young talent that's showing good flashes at WR. Wentz is a tough QB but let's not get him clapped up every other play and let's get the RBs better lanes.

They going all in this year if they lookin at Megatron. I don't kno how I feel about the move tho. Wentz would be the right QB for him because I don't see him force feeding him tho. They have that mix of young and old that great teams have to have right now. I think Mack should have Torrey's job by the time the playoffs start, but it'll be interestig to see if they'll trust the rook over a vet. JP obviously hurts, but he may be able to make it back by the playoffs. Hicks is looking like fools gold but I hope I'm wrong. Great player just can't hold up. Interesting that they think Vaitai can be the starting LT on a super bowl team.

Being real with y'all

You guys were pretty good fans, better than I experienced in Buffalo

Only issue I had is I sat for The anthem and when Brieda scored the TD I got a little hyped and turned around talked a little trash (shouldn't have done that, no one was trash talking me at all) and kinda got into it with a fan behind me and some clown yelled "he sat for the anthem!"

But overall the walk of shame only had mybe 2-3 people trash talk me on my way out the game and overall people were respectful and cool

Kudos to Philly for defying the stereotype

Your parking and traffic situation is WOAT tho
