No Sophomore Slumps In Wentzylvania - Official Philadelphia Eagles 2017-18 Season Thread

Before the season I wasnt too worried about the Broncos playing the Eagles in November but now.

The fukk is up with this team? I thought Wentz was your classic white qb hype train. He impressed last season but this season he's on another level. If he keeps progressing like he has Philly can legit be an instant playoff lock ala Patriots or Colts (when Manning was there.)

Also, what happened with Agholor? Homie went from dropping every pass and damn near being cut to looking like a young TO out there.

Wouldn't surprise me if we get Eagles vs Packers championship round.

Wentz has gotten better and receivers are catching the ball...

He also has developed great chemistry with ertz in the redzone

If these corners can get healthy and just hold on and get better , we lookin good

Nice win...defense showed out...wentz played good but he wasn't picking up the blitz early in the game. ..Blount can definitely help us win games with that power running in December win it's cold out...cox was strong arming their guards the whole game....good W on a short week

you could see the potential from him last season, problem was we had ZERO threat at the WR position and our best o lineman out for 10 games.

1 year later, wentz got a full offseason as being the guy (bradford was our starter last yr til we traded him), upgraded at WR, RB, CB, DT, DE and its really no surprise that we're this good . team was losing a lot of close games last year

agholor improvement is the real shocker to me... dude is on another level this year now that hes in the slot

Carson said something I've wanted to hear for awhile in his post game interview with the NFL Network guys. He said "the game is slowing down for me". That's one of the surest signs that a young QB is starting to get it. His mastery of 3rd down is starting to bear that out, too....

This was a monumental win for this young squad. This is the most hope I've had for this team since our Super Bowl years. That defense is unbelievable, who knew that Brandon Graham would be leading the league in QB pressures? Even the secondary is maturing. We need Smallwood back to balance out the inside/outside running threat, but my boy Corey seems to be improving weekly, too.

Really excited for this team's future.

but YO...after last nights win its time to give Pedersen SOME credit. Im sorry but its time. Third down conversions are only half execution...you still gotta call the right play

I'm still on the fence because the NFC East has been a crapshoot in recent history but with Zeke being out this year is ours. All we gotta do is beat the Redskins next game and we are all but clinching the playoffs if you ask me.

The Packers and Eagles are looking like favourites in a weak NFC currently. Packers #1, Eagles #2. mind yall we got that W without Lane Johnson and Jordan Hicks

I'll be honest, I thought we overpayed for eartz and thought he wasnt that much of a upgrade over Trey Burton. But this year hes been everything we invested in and more

But Swagalor transformation is a thing of beauty. Only reason he still on the team is because we would lose money cutting him. I would have laughed in your face if you told me me that Nelson would turn things around

I can't wait to see them play against the Rams in LA

only thing is next year that draft pick might be low. I'm thinking between 22-30.maybe saquon fall fall a bit. OL prolly a better bet though. Find someone to replace Jason Peters
