Analytics back up that 4th & 8 call but you've gotta be in tune with the game going on that day.

You're up 7-0 despite the Giants racking up yards all day because your defense is forced to play soft shell with all the injuries. Your offense hasn't been able to gain chunk yards in the air because the opposing secondary is really fukking good.

The worst thing you can do is fail to convert, give the Giants a short field to snatch a 7 before the half, and have NY start the 3rd tied in a game they should've been down 2-3 scores in. Doug got bailed out by Shepherd not holding that ball all the way through the process.

I understand the injuries but if u play a soft shell a whole game any qb will eventually get hot and light you up...jim wasn't switching it up enough for me ,make Eli uncomfortable , we know how he plays when he gets touched...Doug is going to cost us some games with his play calling...

I did notice Schwartz was pressing Odell with Jalen Mills intermittently.

Mills is not that physical, and O Dell is a hell of a route runner and receiver, u cant give him any advantages like that

I dont think he trusts Douglas that much. And he was shadowing Marshall. You playing with fire if u constantly press him. He may be the flabby and sick version but he is still strong.

The pass rush was out of gas on a hot ass day, the giants defense was all fukked up too. In addition, Eagles Pass rush loses their punch without Cox.

The injuries really tied up Schwartz hands.
