I'm starting to come around to if Schreff makes it to FA, throw him the bag and use the first round pick to either go pass rusher or safety. I think we might be out of range to draft one of the better tackles, but if one falls, I wouldn't be mad at drafting one.
I think Alex Leatherwood would be there for us honestly but if not I agree with getting Schreff

Mock I did yesterday:

1. OT Andrew Thomas UG -He wont be there when we pick, but I wouldn't mind picking up the highest OT on our board with this pick.

2. RB Travis Etienne CLEM -I really like him. I think he could be a Kamara type of back on the nx level. Its possible I would have made a trade here, due to 2 other good backs being left on the board.

3. EDGE Khalid Kareem ND- Can never have to many pass rushers. JPP wont be round forever and 1-2 years learning under JP and Barrett would benefit any young edge rusher.

4. DL- Labryan Ray BAMA- Saban's pedigree. Likely high round talent, but falls due to injury. Had to get him. Suh wont be around for much longer.

5.QB Oshea Patterson MICH- I really wanted a QB in this draft and he was the best available after drafting what I consider our needs. Drafting QB's is such a crapshoot. I don't mind spending a 5th on him. He could turn out to be decent to good, or he could be a bust. But either way it was just a 5th rounder.

6. OG Jon Runyan- BPA. Plus hes at a position where I believe you can never have to much talent.

Most didn't like my 5th round pick, but I explained that.

Some wanted more CB help, but weve spent so much draft capital there over the last 3 years, its time to let those guys develop and address other needs. Plus there was a run on DB's in the 1st, which allowed Thomas to fall to us.

This is the first time in a while I remember four straight wins for a Bucs team. You can see they’re building confidence and things are starting to come together. They’re doing what they’re suppose to do, beat bad teams.

Jameis makes you love and hate him at the same time. This team would be fools to not franchise tag him at least. There’s more pressing issues than him, as everyone here has stated plenty of times. Only one INT today, and that one was in the first quarter. Hopefully this is the start to more mistake free quarters.

The defense is still up and down, more up. Getting better. Ball hawks in the secondary.

And Gay still can’t get right.

This is probably gonna be an ugly game for us :patrice:
That's what I'm thinkin'

We're either gonna win close or get blown out. The run game has gotta get going to take pressure of the pass game since we're down 3 weapons. We know Jameis is gonna press but hopefully being down weapons makes him gun shy just a lil bit and play a bit more careful

This should be a game where we get at least 110-120 yards on the ground between both our backs, but that’s doubtful. I expect a lot of TE action and dump off passes to Ogunbowale/Rojo

Well that was a fun end to the season. At least if you don’t take a lost season seriously like me. If things fall a certain way in the draft, Jameis might have just tore his ass right there.

I know Bruce is low-key pissed off that his non-losing season record has been tarnished forever. Off the top of my head, Jameis has lost us about 5 or 6 games with his interception fukkery. In the NFC that damn near puts us out of playoff contention off his terrible games alone, not even factoring other shyt.

He’s highly entertaining and talented but it’s too much. We can’t win shyt with him, not as he is. He’s the NFL version of Russell Westbrook: a whole lot of talent, raw ability, exciting player, bad instincts, terrible decision making, boom or bust in the clutch. Unless Arians expects major improvement in his 2nd year in the system, homie better be satisfied with a transition/franchise tag and call it a day.

The good news is, if we can retain a some key players on the D line, bring in some veteran guys for the trenches and back end... the future of our defense might be bright.
