Im not sure why Brooks didn't atleast try to go small, it really reminded me of Mike Brown in Cleveland and how stubborn he would be with lineups that clearly weren't working. A good coach would throw something different out there, hell even Spoelstra tried different lineups. It seems like he thought he could use size against the Heat even though it was obvious their bigs couldn't score in the paint on their own.

Perkins used to be able to finish in the paint, that knee injury just took all of his lift.

They just need someone that can get them some buckets here and there around the rim. I am mad that Dwight won't sign off on joining that team, that Russ/KD/Dwight trio would be ridiculous.
I will take a developing Cole Aldrich with a low post scoring ability and a questionable IQ over Perk from here on out... cole atleast has the ability to finish in the paint and grab boards.. there is no reason to have center who is only useful for one series at most.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I think he's more dominant on the ball.. i think if we had maynor he would have been able to play off the ball more where he also is deadly.. btw harden is fukking terrible off the ball :wtf:
Maynor would have helped get Ibaka more involved, but I don't think they were winning this series with how the Heat were playing. Bosh by himself basically outplayed the Thunder bigs.

I think Harden got hit with the finals jitters to be honest, he played entirely too bad for that just to be him getting exposed.

Why does everybody think Ibaka sucks? If Brooks played a lineup of more Collison and Ibaka the Thunder MIGHT have won this series. How he kept looking at Perkins get his food ate by Bosh and didn't think to put Ibaka on him is either the dumbest or the orneriest thing I have ever seen.

No need to panic or make radical changes

this is a championship calibre team

I honestly believe this team would have won if Brooks simply:

Kept that decrepit old man fisher off , he played significant minutes and contributed basically nothing
Sat Mean mug perkins, also contributed nothing

The extra mins should have been shared by collison, thabo, ibaka and even cook and cole aldrich

but you guys are looking nice with some vets on the market and the west not looking formidable

cosign my breh, perkins was no factor defensively at all PLUS:

in game 4 which okc lost by 6 points, fisher and mean mug played a combined FORTY MINUTES for a COMBINED stat line of:

2/5 shooting, 4 points, 3boards and a steal

:comeon: brooks wth

You can't win a title(unless it's the 90's) with no big men presence offensively. It puts too much pressure on Russy, Durant, and harden to make shots
