I will take a developing Cole Aldrich with a low post scoring ability and a questionable IQ over Perk from here on out... cole atleast has the ability to finish in the paint and grab boards.. there is no reason to have center who is only useful for one series at most.Im not sure why Brooks didn't atleast try to go small, it really reminded me of Mike Brown in Cleveland and how stubborn he would be with lineups that clearly weren't working. A good coach would throw something different out there, hell even Spoelstra tried different lineups. It seems like he thought he could use size against the Heat even though it was obvious their bigs couldn't score in the paint on their own.
Perkins used to be able to finish in the paint, that knee injury just took all of his lift.
They just need someone that can get them some buckets here and there around the rim. I am mad that Dwight won't sign off on joining that team, that Russ/KD/Dwight trio would be ridiculous.
