Can a DBRY follower come in and tell me exactly why he is so entertaining? I like the "yes" thing when the crowd gets into it but he sucks on the mic as well and his promos are boring and weak. I was watching mania and pulled for him but why would WWE keep him in the main event yearly? That would be get old and the people would boo him just like they doing reigns....

Solid face presence on the mic, and he happens to be one of the best wrestlers on the planet. We all sorta watch wrestling for...good wrestling......so yeah....

And if the fans start booing him, let them do it. They're not booing him now and they want him in the main event so that's what they should've done.

When The Rock was the man they kept giving him the main event no matter what. They didn't alter the course or turn him heel until the crowd made it clear they were tired of his face persona.

Daniel Bryan is being punished for not having a traditional look. The problem is this is 2015 and the times have changed. People don't care about big muscular monsters being the only guys at the top anymore.

Well, consider me old school because I'm still set in the attitude era mindset where I want to see a guy that's the top guy LOOK like a top guy. Punk was scrawny too but he had major charisma! DB doesn't have "it" imo. Without the yes chant, he's basic af imo. I've always wanted to see ziggler, truth, cesaro*, and even ryder be pushed to the top. They have charisma. I'm only a casual wrestling fan nowadays though. No way i'd ever order wwe network but I watch mania every year. But speaking as a casual, I'd never buy into the DB is the top guy crap. That whole i made from the bottom is cool and respectful but it's gotten old. You were the champ, you got injured, you nearly retired so now what? Another championship because you had to surrender it due to injury? Who's going to fight him? His moveset is fukking weak as shyt. Kicks, yes lock, kicks, submission, flying off turnbuckle....boring.

He never near retired..you just got worked. And his struggle is WAY more deep than anything R Truth, Ziggler from the Spirit Squad or that stupid fukking idiot Zack Ryder ever did. They were losers for a long time and allowed themselves to be losers. Willingly.

Neither of the two are taken seriously. While Brock Lesnar is...

Mark Henry was taken seriously enough to have a WHC title run though. Sexual Chocolate hasn't been around in like 15 years. Big Show was taken seriously enough to have multiple world title runs.

They both have been beaten countless times by people they'd never lose to in a real world setting. Daniel Bryan beating Brock Lesnar wouldn't be that big of a deal. The match would obviously be promoted and the story told in a way where Daniel Bryan uses his skill and wits to stay in the match. It's the same way people are booked to beat Big Show or Mark Henry. Its never in a straight up power way unless the wrestler the is a monster in their own right like Ryback or Rusev.

Daniel Bryan carries himself seriously and has won countless matches against people bigger than him. I wouldn't have to suspend my disblief anymore than when CM Punk would beat Mark henry or Eddie Guerrero beat Brock Lesnar or Kurt Angle would beat Big Show or how Seth Rollins looks credible in the same ring as Lesnar. Superior skill to overcome the brute strength and size disadvantage.

I believe in Daniel Bryan's ability to beat Lesnar with his ferocity, MMA style offense, craftiness and quickness than I do in Roman Reign's ability to do so with a Superman punch, a samoan drop and a spear with lots of howling mixed in between.

Funny thing is Bryan can legitimately choke Reigns out....it's comical to hear dudes whine about that size thing when they don't know what they are talking about. Can Blandy beat up Floyd Mayweather because he's 6'4? Get a clue.

Supposedly Bryan was turning into an a$$hole last night according to some goofball but here's what happened with that story
UPDATE: PWInsider has shot down the story that Daniel Bryan was upset following his Royal Rumble elimination, calling it “ridiculous.” The site says that the Royal Rumble competitors were told to get out of the entrance way as quickly as possible so that they would not be caught on camera during the new entrants’ approaches, as WWE wanted the focus to be on the incoming guys.
This was why he didn’t interact with the fans, and not because he was angry about his elimination.
ORIGINAL: A new live report suggests that Daniel Bryan may have been frustrated immediately following his Royal Rumble elimination. Shaheen, who co-hosts the The Hot Tag Podcast, shared his observation of Bryan and said the superstar seemed very frustrated as he headed to the back:
“Not exactly sure what happened, but we were near backstage and he walked right by all of us. We said hello and he paused, looked at us with a blank stare and then walked off. He looked super pissed and completely ignored all of is. It was very awkward to say the least…It was really weird. I know people will want to believe that he was just ‘selling’ it, but it was strange. I’d like to think that I have a pretty good understanding of kayfabe and this seemed legit. He wasn’t selling anything. There were 10 of us there and he really came off like an a—hole, which is really unusual for Bryan.”
Bryan also took to Twitter today to thank his fans, posting:
