The banter between Heyman vs HHH/Steph should be good for a few weeks

maybe Kurt Angle gets involved somehow and makes himself "special referee"

then, Heyman threatens Angle not to screw Lesnar, etc

At RR, Kurt Angle screws HHH out of the title match and helps Brock win

leads up to "HHH vs Angle" at Mania



p.s. i realize that this match in 2018 is but its just a filler title match for the ppv and Royal Rumble is the money match always at RR

We all know this ends with Roman going over at Mania. Everything until then is filler. Not to mention that this is Royal Rumble, the one time where you don't even need a big marquee title match since the Rumble itself is the main draw. They could throw literally anyone with some heat on them out there and it would be fine.

I guess the bigger issue that there isnt anyone that would make for a compelling match, that will still lose and Brock will drop the title to Roman

Yea, for that match there was a legitimate backstory. It's not like they drew his name out of a hat and gifted him a title match.
