First day with Oculus got nauseous as hell. Please tell me this goes away. :lupe:

turn down the brightness
change frequency to 120hz in experimental settings
use teleport when walking,, stay away from walking and flying for now,,( only try walking and flaying for a couple of minutes ) turn that shyt off soon as you start feeling funny,

go to the android or apple store and download a IPD app like EyeMeasure

61 mm or smaller ------ setting 1 (narrowest, 58 mm)
61 mm to 66 mm ------setting 2 (middle, 63mm)
66mm or larger ------ setting 3 (widest, 68mm)

Oculus 2 only goes to 90hz.

Snap turning would definitely help. I played Resident Evil for a couple hours and I was fine. I never knew VR could make you sick till I started reading more about it.

Yeah I said you need a pc. But if you have a pc the graphics will look better than anything psvr2 will do.

some of the head crabs have bullet proof shells, you gotta wait for them to stand and show their mouths underneath.

Man when VR technology matches the shyt we get on consoles and pc shyt will be :wow:. Imagine a Thrill of the Fight with a Fight Night type budget.

It'd be my dream game

Damn kids already tossed the occulus in the bushes mean while I am enjoying this thing. Guess since Roblox and minecraft isn't on it they said forget it..

You can get Minecraft working on it.

anybody here play Resist yet?
i'd like to hear some other people's experience with it.
i haven't played it in a few weeks but i gotta say it's one of the most intense virtual experiences i've had.

It appears to be fun. This is the beginning of the game so I'm not dropping spoilers but flying through tair like Spiderman was wild like when you go up those lifts to wash the windows. It gives a wild sense of flying around like Spiderman. The sense of scale of the city when you are high in the air is amazing.

To add to the discussion here, I'm going to be a day one psvr2 owner. That said, if there are any games on both psvr2 and oculus, I'm getting them for oculus. Why? They've already shown a willingness to support backwards compatibility but most importantly, the freedom of movement. I was playing Walkabout Mini Golf today and brehs, lining up putts, not having to worry about things obstructing me makes the experience more enjoyable. I already hear the chorus, it's only one wire. It's still one more than I need for my oculus. I didn't want the oculus link so I bought a faster wireless solution for my pc so I could get it popping through virtual desktop. I can't be the only person that thinks like this either. Wireless capabilities and portable nature are going to stand out as huge factors.

wireless is a whole different game.
i got in on the OQ2 right after AirLink dropped and Virtual Desktop had already been out.
the only times i gamed with the wire was when i fukked up and let my other batteries drain out.
untethered movements in VR is what it's all about otherwise you are cool with being on a leash.
