For psvr you need a ps4 or ps5

The Oculus Quest 2 is wireless and requires nothing except what comes in the box. PlayStation VR is tethered by a wired connection at all times, and requires multiple pieces of hardware that are usually all sold separately. Quest 2 released recently and features modern hardware, whereas PSVR is noticeably older and more out of date in almost every aspect of its hardware.

I have psvr and never minded the wires, what does the quest 2 do that's better? Also on psvr some of the images were blurry is it the same for quest 2?

As an owner of both, the Oculus Quest 2 is a definitive step up. The size of your play area determines how immersive you can be with a game.

So, the Quest 2 has better resolution and higher refresh rate. Between Oculus' own storefront and being able to play every Steam VR game, you have the catalog to satisfy any genre. The PSVR has not been supported nearly to the level of the Quest 2. This is the defacto leader going forward.

Un-thetherd, room-scale, positional tracking is such a game changer. I would love to try it in a large, empty room

The ability to walk, crouch, jump in real life and it being represented in a game is pretty cool.
