This reminds me of coming across an article about a big fish caught in Detroit. I've never associated Detroit with anything nature related. Forgot there's a ton of natural water sources in that area. I don't associate nature with NYC either, other than maybe ridiculous sized rats.

I'm white. I have a degree in history and a minor in afam studies. I talk about class issues because my experiential knowledge surrounding race is limited despite my academic studies. I'll leave it to more capable people to speak authoritatively on race when its necessary (all the time.) You can not untie race and class when speaking on the consolidation of power in America.

Big D came in first place in USA Today's Readers' Choice contest for Best International Skyline.

Maybe it's the influence of TV series Dallas? Or maybe it's the new LED lights and color changes that caught readers' eyes? Or that fancy Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge that glows white?

At any rate, architects picked 20 highly recognizable cityscapes and readers voted for four weeks.
