Yep. Cro doesn't have any guaranteed money past this season. He's basically insurance for Dee Millner. If Millner gets up to speed and stays healthy, we might not see Cro here next season.
Milliner has to make the team first.

They don't get rid of first round injury prone players with such ease in real football life. That's newspaper fodder
Good teams do. Milliner has next to no value to us next year, he's not going to play...and he hs to beat out the guys who were on the team and are coming back anyways. Plus he's not going to be ready to go till maybe the start of camp.
He's be relatively easy to trade because of his contract and you could use the pick on a position that could help immediately.

Team's wait on first round picks for the most part. He'll make this team until the wheels fall off and he gets no burn. His good teams angle has no say.
Hes not going to play this year. If be surprised if he weren't traded honestly. If you can get a pick back for your 5th CB you do it.

Right so if you can get value in return and spend it on a player who can contribute you do it. Need to come to grips with Milliner probably never pinning out for the Jets. And if he does we shouldn't have spent all this dough on the secondary.
He'll play. The better question will be is he gonna be effective. I doubt it.

Think is, he'll make the team. He's not costing us much.
He's got to beat out Mcdougle and whoever the other CB's we had playing last year (Walls, Williams...I think).
When an organization goes on the splurge on a positional group like the Jets did....the writing is kind of on the wall. Milliner and Coples are both guys who would have more value somewhere else than here.
