I'm happy with this so long as Bowles doesn't bring Chan Gailey in as our OC :scusthov:

You called it breh. :russ:
I guess we couldn't wait around for Quinn anymore. :ld:
And it looks like Bowles is pretty highly respected so maybe this is for the best. I'm actually pretty hopeful. :blessed:

Mike Maccagnan looks like Arn Anderson
First player to get out of line is catching that Double A Spinebuster. :lolbron:

For all those saying that Geno can't play. Remember: only a Sith deals in absolutes.
I meant to ask what was up with that avi.

Brehs. Peep this though:
I believe he wont last 2 seasons just because the media has been so one sided, It must be political correctness gone amok. With the other candidates there was honest assessment but with Bowles everything is rosy. The only people be quoted are media, not players or coaches that worked with him (that's odd). The guy knows nothing about offense and that's the Jets biggest weakness. I don't trust the media at all, they gave us Obama and Sanchez and they both suck.
Some guy posted this in a comment section of an article I was reading about Bowles... How? What? Why?
:why:

Cobb basically has the same skillset as Harvin. And will probably come at the same price, if not higher. Plus he has a Top 3 QB throwing the ball to him. All these makes me weary of Cobb. Plus I still think GB re-signs him.

All the top guys in FA aren't leaving their respective teams. Only guys we have a shot at are the Torrey Smiths and Michael Crabtrees, who wont come cheap, and are too inconsistent to justify paying that money to.

Better of drafting a receiver

Cobb is a definite upgrade over Harvin for the same money and does different things. Cobb has better hands and runs better routes than Harvin. Cobb can actually run the NFL route tree and extend into catches. Moreover he is impeccably consistent for such an explosive player. He would be a great addition.

My avi is a satirical take on the public's perception of Geno and his dark rise as a NFL quarterback.

While I can understand your commentator's concerns about the relative lack of media scrutiny for Bowles, the commentator is misinformed. I know Louis Riddikk, Richard Sherman and Matt Williamson have praised Bowles as a defensive specialist. Taking his profile into consideration, Bowles probably knows about as much on offence as Quinn, whom many didn't have a problem hiring and whom the media treated with similarly soft hands. But I suppose the commentator missed that paralall.

Haha. Geno Sith.

I was more puzzled that he managed to practically throw a blame Obama in there. These right wingers take no days off.
