Cobb basically has the same skillset as Harvin. And will probably come at the same price, if not higher. Plus he has a Top 3 QB throwing the ball to him. All these makes me weary of Cobb. Plus I still think GB re-signs him.

All the top guys in FA aren't leaving their respective teams. Only guys we have a shot at are the Torrey Smiths and Michael Crabtrees, who wont come cheap, and are too inconsistent to justify paying that money to.

Better of drafting a receiver

I'd be fine with Quinn, but part of me is a but weary.

His defensive schemes are so basic (esp compared to Bowles). That works for him because he's got such a talented defense, but he's not gonna have an elite D like that when he comes here. Plus look at Gus Bradley, the guy Quinn inherited the D from. He moved on to coach Jacksonville, and hasn't looked so good. That defense is ranked like 28th or 29th overall. Makes me wonder if he was really good at coaching defense, or if the elite Seattle D masked his deficiencies. I wonder those same things about Quinn

I'd be pissed if we took Mariota. :snoop:
Eh, not going to lie, I'm desperate for consistent qb play. I'm willing to take a chance on either.

I'd rather we wait on Quinn too. Feel he is the better option over Bowles. What is another 3 weeks really? (Assuming Sea gets past GB which I think they do)
I like the GM hire, now let's ride it out and wait for Quinn.....
Yeah. I'm all in for Quinn.

This. I'm coming to terms with the fact that neither Mariotta nor Winston will be there. Cooper probably won't wither, but I'm hopeful.
I'm more bothered by the fact that we're still interviewing people. I was actually pretty sold on Quinn.

ehhhhh theres no gaurantee we get quinn though. 49ers are supposed to be interested as well. What if just wait around and quinn chooses them? Then we're left with our dikk in our hands

Better to do all the interviews now just to be prepared to go with your second choice.Nothing is certain.

And im not sold on quinn. Picking apart other winning teams staff is what bad, lazy teams do. It rarely actually works out. How many of belichecks guys went on to have success?

:yeshrug: who knows man. This whole offseason will shape this franchise for years to come. Ill give whoever a chance and judge them on their own merits.

Idzik left the next GM sitting pretty. High draft picks,a solid core and tons of cap space.

I hope we dont sign a bunch of flashy free agents just to appease the fan base.

Im excited but nervous as hell as well. I dont trust woody personally but I like that he brough in football guys to help out.

But if we fukk up on this gm/coach we are going to be bad for a long time.

The Bills just taking our JV coaching staff is pretty hilarious. Schwartz just bailed too.

I am not sure about the GM.. but the fact that wolf and to an extent casserly picked him I will be cool. would have preferred someone from Greenbay or even the right folks from Seattle. oh and I found this on another site jsut to see what you guys thought.

It not just the GM and HC.. its the scouting department that needs revamping. Bradway should be gone.
