As someone who’s always had a full time job and a side hustle (working at arenas, hosting concerts) quarantine taught me how valuable time is.

I just got back doing my music thing on the side for some extra bread but if you don’t work for yourself 40 hours is already a lot of your day to make someone else money, let alone 50, 60 hours.

If that man is truly content with his station in life, he should work only his 40 hours and do him.

But if that man doesn't want to be average in life, he should put in that extra work heavy during his PRIME time of energy, freedom and power so when he's in his 30s he's not like everybody else trying to recover from the mistakes (or laziness) of their twenties.

Everyone I've seen in life who champion that " work life balance" for people in their twenties never seem to have an impressive life. I'd say, carve out some time for life, sure. But go hard on structuring your future life more -- that other shyt isn't going anywhere.

If someone older than you says don't go hard in your 20s, look at their lives in their 30s and beyond and see if their lives are something you want to emulate. I'd wager that 95% of the time, you'd say hell no.

You need to sit down and think about what makes you happy and use some of your free time to make it a reality

now you're 20's is when you are supposing to be working the most because you are able to do it physically and mentally, and so you don't have to do in the future

you see people in their 30's 40s working everyday, with no vacation, and pretty much nothing to live for and are just slaves to their possessions
