tl;dr 3-14 season incoming@Medici can you update the thread to 2022?
I’ve been following training camp way too closely, watching all the press conferences, reading all the media feedback, here are my takes heading into the season
1) I like what I’ve seen from the coaching staff. They are prioritizing teaching and putting the work in. All feedback from the players are that practices are rigorous but everyone is bought in and the coaches are good teachers. Eberflus seems like he has a good understanding of how to run the team like a company ceo, he’s setting a good tone while letting his positional coaches work
2) Hard to get a great read on Justin’s performance until preseason kicks off. It sounds like he is absorbing and picking up the new offense. Media said his first day in pads wasn’t great. Sounds like all other days have gone well.
3) Gordon & Brisker have been tearing up camp. It sounds like we hit big on both second round picks. Our secondary might be sneaky good
4) Mooney is gonna continue to break out. He’s having a great camp. His route running looks even more improved. Kmet is in gray shape and getting rave reviews from coaches. Good signs. Rest of WR core is sounding like trash
Poles did a good job getting some veteran talent late in FA. This team lacks serious depth but there are a lot of foundational pieces to watch this season. It’s all about Justin’s development of course
yeah even with the soft schedule it’s hard imagining many wins. I’m not even stressed about it this season. It’s all about Justin proving himself and seeing growth & flashes from the young playerstl;dr 3-14 season incoming
I'm not even upset though, I like the direction we going in with new management and I wish the best for Eberflus. Also expect us to retool next off-season after Fields proves he is a bonafide starter in this league. Will also be going to the Bears-Falcons game in November because I'll never stop being a fan, but I'll be damned if I hype myself up for this season.

Glad that Jenkins is back, hope that he can be starting by the first game.@Medici can you update the thread to 2022?
