I still remember walking around my school and seeing folks where them tanks around they necks when NL blew up. I was a big big NL fan.

I'll post Slims extended 2nd Line and interviews w/ Bass Heavy (NL producer) and Magnolia Levee. Got some more CTC and CC artists in it too. Geezy and Slim were very good friends, even when NL and CM had that tension b/w em. The day he got caught lacking, somebody went back in his house and got the laptop that had the Geezy and Slim album on. That's how the streets got a hold of it. Buddy that was linked to Slim's murder got hit up the same way Slim got hit. What goes around finally had came back to him. Slim's legacy living through his moms, his son, and his sister. Hi son and sister rapping now. Tre-Nitty, Valerio (Ghetto Commission), and DIG on fb.

RIP Duck, 12, Big Ed, and VL
Free LilRealOne, Kayotic, C, Mac, Geezy, and Logga B.

Mac never seen his son as a free man. I'm cool w/ Mac's brother on fb too. Funny thing is, the prosecutor that got Mac all them years also had legal issues. Him and his son got hit w/ investigations and charges for some junk. I forgot what the charges were.

I think Mia beat her cancer issue. Her son rapping now.

Snoop still be giving props to P for how he treated him on NL. He was on his youtube channel with G-unit telling how P looked out for him.

Wasn't MC Eiht supposed to go to NL?? I think Mack 10 told him to stay w/ the West tho.

Kane & Able still making them hood flicks??

@M.DOT @OHSNAP! Opinions on Mia X Good Girl, Gone Bad and Silkk's "The Shocker" album, good blend of west coast and down south production

Did you fukk with No Limit and Master P releases when he was originally in the bay?

Yup, around 97 Mack 10, C-Bo and MC Eiht got offers from P to join the tank or put out a collabo album (similar to Young Bleed's album, which was a collabo with C-Loc Records). IMO they made the wrong choice, would've had way more exposure on NL

The Shocker had some of the greatest production in all of NL history (same with his follow-up album), GGGB was cool too, Mia was raw as fukk on there

Many cats prefer NL's westcoast records (91-95),personally I enjoy the South/West mix (96/97) and dirty south flavor (98-00) alot more

Yeah, he lived for a while. It really wasn't getting at him that was the problem. The problem was the big dawg that sent him. That's why he got away for so long.

I liked all of them cats too. That would've been the smartest move they made. I could see Eiht on the tank and that would've been a perfect fit. Him and Snoop roll blue, so they would've clicked instantly.

as long as they kept their core sound. Snoop didn't really get catch his stride until he got back to his West Coast sound with Dre, Daz, Supafly, Meech etc...

Anybody know which version of Master P Ice Cream Man is the original cover?

Is it the one that says includes the hit singles Ice Cream Man & I'm Bout it? or the one without it?

smh mack 10 should have did that since he was in im bout it and was on west coast bad boyz compilations, that would have gelled nicely. He would later do it with cash money

@OHSNAP! @M.DOT so how did No Limit tour? lol did P take 50 people on tour? How long was there set list?
Well depends on what time period you mean. Before the big blow-up (bay area days) I have no idea, but after Tru 2 Da Game and Bout It, they did roll 50 deep on stage, almost everyone was on there. The booklets of the summer 99 albums (like Lil Italy) have ads for their big summer tour with everyone involved, from the big names to smaller acts like GCs and Mercedes
