I Can Tell was officially Mercedes' song, and Where Do We Go From Here (feat Nas) was MP's song (MP verse written by Mac of course). P should have released both as singles (instead of that horrible Money Ain't A Thang knockoff with JD). Wobble Wobble was Magic's song first

P put Magic's "Ice On My Wrist" on his album as well even though it was slightly different on P's album. Mercedes' "Crazy Bout Ya" is another one that P placed on OGCJM.

Prolly yeah, then for whatever reason things changed and Bossalinie and Thuggin' were NL releases only, and Malachi/Reginelli/Porsha were NL artists only

Mark In Da Dark (also ghost-produced different stuff under alias MP, just like K-Lou, for Da Last Don, Bossalinie and other albums throughout 98/99) had some real heat, he produced the original Wobble Wobble on Thuggin' and P took that shyt, let C-Los change the beat (included the triggerman sample) and made it a hit in 2000 for da 504 Boyz. MIDD (D'Andrea) sued him for basically stealing his shyt, after Wobble Wobble blew up

Memorial Day had a few dope cuts, but overall a full album with his verses is just too much. Same can be said about much bigger rappers tho (Busta, Jada....)
I knew damn well MP didn't produce :russ:

Thats the most fukked up thing I heard P done, did Mark in The Dark win the lawsuit?

@M.DOT @OHSNAP!

better album, ghetto d or ice cream man?

bout that drama might be the best carlos stephens beat
Manne I actually listened to ICM for a week straight in my car last week. Not as good as many claim it to be, some filler (Killer P, How G's Ride, Back Up Off Me, Watch Dees Hoes), but very enjoyable no doubt. Too much Scarface/Spice-1/E-40/UGK copying tho

Ghetto D is alot better, the Fiend/Mac/Mystikal/BBTP influence is obvious. Singles are better, beats are hotter, P spits fire, only the endless Silkk guest spots are really unnecessary. Some of NL/P's best songs on here (Burbons&Lacs, I Miss My Homies, After $$ No Cents)

Bout That Drama is classic NO headbusser shyt. Reminds me alot of Natural Born Killers tho. My favorite C-Los beats are Hoodlum (Skull feat Holloway) and Big Toys (504 Boyz)

Ghetto D is arguably the best album to come out of NL. I liked ICM but Ghetto D is better production wise which is probably the most important thing when it came to No Limits music as a whole

It's crazy that right around the time BBTP left No Limit, Cash Money took over NO

For me personally, Life Or Death, both Fiend and Mac albums and Tru 2 Da Game are better than Ghetto D. Most NL fans claim Ghetto D to be the best NL album (it's usually Ghetto D, Tru 2 Da Game, Ice Cream Man)

Yeah CMR was surely more popular and sold more than NL in summer 99, after 400 Degreez and CCITG came out. When Guerilla Warfare hit the streets, it was a wrap

Don't know the connection but it seems Skull has been with No Limit since 1994

I said arguably. You named 3 albums. Ghetto D is right up there with those
