Great track, just bumped it a few days ago

Fiend, Mac, Mystikal and Mia had a tight relationship with KLC. I think KLC and Fiend did a great job on the Street Life album. Mo B dikk did great on Ghetto D and Tru 2 Da Game. Craig B always brought the heat for Mia X and Kane&Abel. Carlos saved his best beats for his Ghetto Commission group. O'Dell had some fire beats on Da Crime Family and for the smaller acts (Gambinos, Prime Suspects, Skull Duggery)
were all the artist on the label goons as well as the regular goons percy employed lol

Lets just say some were real artists that took the rap game/music biz seriously (Fiend, Mia, Mac, Mystikal, BBTP...) while others were deeply connected to the streets all the time

Yup, Skull and 3 of the GC's (Holloway, Vellario and singer Dolliole) were on Spiral Records first, then on Carlos' own TSO. Listen to Skull's debut album, they're on there (G9 = Velario, Dwane Michael = Holloway). G-Spade joined the GC's at some point, then they made their debut on the I Got The Hook Up OST.

Am I My Brothers Keeper had two of my favorite soldier posse cuts (Watch me w/Slim and Mystikal, also Let's Go Get Em w/Mac and Big Ed and co), and somefantastic production (Stress, NL N's, Greens Cornbread & Cabbage). Loved that one

Probably mine too. Or the one from Charge It 2 Da Game. Or the one from Unpredictable

@OHSNAP! you know why snoop didnt appear on C-Murders Life Or Death and a few other albums ?
He was basically on almost every nl album in 98 with the exception of "Life Or Death", "My Balls & My Word", "The Game Of Funk" & "Wise Guys"

Mac's next album Proverbs was supposed to come out in 2000/01:mjcry: he was locked up in 2000 just when his two biggest hits (Wobble Wobble, He Did That) were out. dude could have blown up bigtime, he was no biter like P, had his own lane/style, had lots of deep profound stuff next to the usual bragadoccio NL style, and all the tools to make it
Agreed you can tell
He was kind of different

Fiend is one of my fathers favorite rappers ever but I never could get into him. I think the best is Mac. I just think his two albums are excellent and him being on that label held him back.

Yea, I'm not debating Mac being the better rapper ( only slightly) however, an overall artist, I feel there is no debating what Fiend brings overall to the table that makes him the best on No Limit. Your father has good taste

Oh yeah who was mystical's homeboy Guillotine? was that his manager?
Why did Mystikal have a deal with Jive instead of with Priority?

Skull Duggery wasn't signed to Priority either when he released These Wicked Streets. He signed a deal with Tommy Boy which had Noreaga at the time also

Snoop wasn't signed yet when Life Or Death was released. He was working with the NL artist though. Every soldier couldn't be on every album. Even P wasn't on Memorial Day and he wasn't on Da Next Level

Young Bleed was never signed to the label when that album came out. P did Bleed a favor on the strength of him putting P on How You Do That remix which blew up around 97. BBTP handled some production and featured P Fiend Mystikal and Silkk but most of it was done by Happy Perez and featured mostly Bleed nikkas from the concentration camp
