Yeah, but there were probably some factors against it from late 99 on (around the time BBTP and many artists left): NL sold less and less records (Tru and P albums in 99 only went gold), therefore Priority (and probably P too) wanted the top stars to drop albums (see 2000/01 albums) to ensure some success, not the B and C acts. Mr Marcelo was the only smaller act to drop a NL album in 2000/01. Everything else was the Millers or Snoop
Krazy and Soulja Slim dropped albums independently in 01, on some madeup new labels (Soulja Army and No Limit South), P a smart hustler
Also, P signed Short Circuit, then Afficial and Slay Sean to have some eastcoast spitters on his team. None of em got an album released. Also a white rapper after Eminem's success
Besides, P saw the success of the sounds of pop/hit records by Nelly and just plain wanted another direction for NL, then New No Limit. No more heavy street gangsta albums/sounds. Even C got to do some club/party cuts on Trapped In Crime.
P & Silkk didn't wanna promote and glorify gang violence and drugdealer lifestyle anymore, which was the right thing to do. They were out that game too, and didn't wanna get into drama no more. P did return to some of the gutta shyt with Good Side/Bad Side in 04 then
