ND will fight, no doubt, but it won't be enough. Too much talent and Chip Kelly has found his groove.

They will give a good effort. They lost a lot of players against Pedo St. Their LT is out and maybe their RG too. We should destroy them on defense. They don’t have a passing game at all and now a banged up OL. I don’t wish injuries but don’t have any OL injury sympathy after what we went through.
They run a blitz heavy man coverage defense. People that think they should just copy the Texas playbook defending Jeremiah with zone coverage don’t understand Texas runs a completely different scheme. Notre Dame runs man like 90% of the time, they are not going to completely revamp their defense in one week. They are who they are, and we will eat that man coverage up. Had to be patient and target Carnell more this game, which shows our versatility. We still averaged 6.5 yards per play against a top 3 defense. They didn’t stop us for real more than our penalties slowed down several drives. But if they go man, it’s back to Jeremiah.
ND got this far with their gameplan and would be foolish to change it now. But that doesn't mean that they may take some concepts what TX did and try to utilized them next Monday. At the end of the day, the Bucks had the harder road to get here and looked great for the most part. ND is not a fraud but they aren't on the same level as us and as long we play to our potential, we should win. It's not about being cocky, it just facts and OSU would have no one else to blame but themselves if they don't pull it off on the 20th.
