No hate, but how does LeBron (27.4 career PPG) have way more points than Melo (25.2)

LeBron (24,383) is almost 3400 points ahead of him career-wise. Carmelo (20,924) was missed 59 more games. However, if Melo didn't miss those games, he would still be 1900 points behind, which is what around Melo averages.

When I heard LBJ passed AI, I thought Melo was neck-to-neck or at least right behind him. Is it really as simple as LeBron drives more, thus shooting more efficient shots (layups / dunks)

vs Carmelo shooting more from the outside? Or is it East Vs West competition levels?

Lebron is way more efficient and the better player. Melo could never finish at the rim like lebron and relied alot more on his jumper, not to mention Lebron basketball iq is tremendous while Melo's is average.

Melo is a great player and will be in the hall of fame, but lebron is one of the best to ever do it and has or had goat potential. Melo never had that.

When they were first drafted Melo had the hype, not as much hype as bron but damn near but people stopped comparing bron and Melo after thier second years in the league. After the second year Melo regressed and Bron and Wade both lapped him.

People only compare the two now to diminish and shyt on Melo

The reason I cant stand basketball fans. Nikkas act like MELO a bum, but every nikka not gone be MJ or Duncan, but you gotta give MELO credit.

20,000 points probably over 25000 when he retires, two gold medals, all nba teams, all star teams and final four mvp and a college championship

Remember its not the nba hall of fame its the basketball hall of fame. Melo will be in there if you dont think so your kidding your self and you need to go and look and see who is actually in the hall of fame

Dumb question if you actually followed their careers

Bron kept improving his game..shooting damn near 60% in his Miami years.

Melo just stayed the same player..never had the drive that Bron had.

It took Dominique Wilkins years to get into the HOF.....and he was 2x the player Carmelo is:comeon:

Allen Iverson's career > Carmelo Anthony's career....AI is still waiting.

Carmelo is not a HOF lock just because he scored some points. Is he on the bubble? Yes. For you to just proclaim him a HOFer like it's already a given is wild.

Did you even read my post? I don't even think A.I is eligible yet. It's not like I just listed a bunch of points I also listed two gold medals and a college championship, you do know that that stuff counts as well right, and nique got it and so will melo. And for nique being two times the player, their stats are identical, I'm not gonna sit here and act like I seen nique play full seasons cause I was to young but from what all I heard nique in his prime was a high scoring small forward who could rebound, didnt pass much and didnt defend much and who didnt elevate his game in the playoffs, and didn't make others better same as what people say about Melo
