I know Clipper slander is trendy on here but it can't be said enough how Trez inability to provide any kind of defensive presence fueled that Clipper collapse. Of course the stars should've did better and Doc should've adjusted but Jokic fried him point blank. You add that to the fact his offensive impact is limited to the paint and this is addition by subtraction for LAC. Once the Lou Will hunting began they didn't have a backline to depend on for helpside defense. He just wasn't the right fit for them

The consistent gap between Trez’s point of recovery back to Jokic on those high screen & rolls was fukking pitiful. The Lakers obvious made note of that in their preparation for Denver and you rarely saw that occur.

There were wayyyyy too many times in LAC vs Den where Joker stepped in rhythm for his jumpsuit after high screen & rolls. At times he was hitting them back to back to back from the same spot

Clippers need more rim protection than just Serge Ibaka.. Lakers have AD, Harrell, and Bron driving the lane. They should figure out away to add Whiteside- but they won't. Similar mistake as last yr - when they signed Patrick Patterson instead Dwight
