You should check out canon busters. Its a cartoon/anime show in its early pilot stages from kickstarter. Its made by a black guy and it has some black lead characters as well. You can still donate on their site for a limited time.

donated to that already , liked it . but unfortunately its not a full season confirmed. hope others who are seeing this donate to that show anime/cartoons are really costly , its looks to have a promising storyline and character design like final fantasy or golden sun sort of

edit: although the show has black lead characters it seems more like for everybody type show, im talking more like family shows and stories

There are plenty of strong black characters on tv..well several, not plenty and most of them are women at the moment which is kinda cool in my book

This!! I don't really care for more Black shows (or even Black movies). I just want more Black character/actors & Black writers/producers/directors on the mainstream shows/movies I'm already watching.

TV Shows like "New Girl", "The Flash", "Scandal", "Sleepy Hollow", "House of Lies", & etc. are already doing this.

Breh she is the lead on sleepy hollow. The show is damn near entirely through her eyes. She's the audiences point of view. And clearly Marty Khan is the lead on house of lies. How you can say he isn't makes me think you haven't watched the show

Breh his point and mine was that these are strong black characters, lead characters, on good shows. I and a couple other people have named black-ish as a good show with all black leads and you scoffed at that when you probably haven't even seen it.

Empire may not be the best show on tv, we have a whole thread talking about how it isn't but it's also the number one show on network tv with a bullet. It's so far in front of the competition it's not even funny and its all black cast.

Scandal and How to get away with murder are both hit shows with strong black female leads in charge

Already named House of Lies which is centered around a black man in charge of a crisis communication firm and features his black family prominently

no thank you to shonda rhimes shows or that minstrel show black ish

never really liked boondocks or black dynamite that much to an extent they were half decent at best , those are cancelled now as well

I posted about this in another thread. There is a TV show that is shown on Bounce called Family Time that stars Omar Gooding and Angell Conwell sexy ass, that is a holesome sitcom but it's tucked away on an irrelevant station.
