I have no preference. I've dated light, brown, and dark. My current boyfriend is African and only a shade lighter than me.

Dude is dumb as shyt. Nigeria is the most populace African country and they have a lot of light skinned people. I've never been to Nigeria but I've met a decent amount of people from their diaspora.

They said half caste specifically. White people are not racially oppressed and their beauty is never in question. If they asked for half white girls only in India or South Korea there would be outrage too.

The girl is indeed very "reddish" so I can definitely understand where you're coming from on that, but Oguchi Onyewu isn't light skinned? LMAO he's somewhere between Will Smith and Chris Brown . If that's not light skinned then what is really? And that's not rhetorical breh, the onus in on you to oblige with a clear example. Only people who are clearly biracial (as in one white parent not generational mixing), and exhibit more white characteristics than black like Soledad O'Brien, Blake Griffin, Stacey Dash and the like are notably lighter.
