Its a good flick but

My gripe about the movie is that the plot was there but overshadowed by Sugah. I get the message was about death, but the whole movie made no damn sense due to the obvious focus.

Its one of those movies where you see it for the first time and its mindblowing, but as years go by...the movie shows flaws that were hidden due to the hype.

I wouldn't say 'not good,' but I've felt for years it's extremely overrated.

Haven't rewatched it a while tho.

Yall know this is a book by cormac McCarthy right? I know I'm not the only person here who read the book, I'm probably the only one here that owns it though....

The movie was great, the book is a great read. You can finish it in about an hour or 2.

Cult classic

A bit more than a "Cult Classic", it did win the best Picture Oscar that yr.

It's a total Rewatchable movie for me tho. Can watch it anytime.

The Mexicans were always on the lookout for the money. At one point they had a receiver as well. Anton killed a few in the hotel, but they didn't need him to get information. In the cab Carla Jean's mother essentially gave up Moss' location, and they went looking for him.

Luckily for me I watched it over 10 years after its release so there was no hype influencing me and it was a movie I decided to check out during a boring evening at home.


I thought it was a great movie and my girl enjoyed it when I put her on it

The movie is about the randomness of death and man arrogance and ignorance towards it. I recommend reading Cormac Mcarthy’s work. He is the author the movie is adapted from. The Road and Blood Meridian specifically.
