Console top box is obsolete. The rising popularity of Pc has shown that. The rise of mobile gaming and mobile devices has shown that. Microsoft again ahead of the curve with technology and where it’s going.
Aside from the point you made about the PC, id have to disagree. XBox stopped making games the focus since the 360. Sure, they had great quality of life features especially when it came to online play, but that was it on top of reducing the number of exclusives they put out. They instead would try to sell the consumer on it being a multi media machine that you could talk to

This is what I've been waiting on. But I'm still hoping Microsoft drops their own "streaming stick". Maybe something that comes with a lan port on it as well as whatever the latest WIFI standard is and some other shyt that I might not be able to think of off the top of my head that can add to the gaming experience.

There is a lot of jealous envious stupidity going on and while I hit this jay I'll bring logic and reason to the heathens...
Sooo what would be the logic behind buying a console ever again?? :patrice:

Got to be a catch right
Gamepass is the catch :win:
this isn't new

and hasn't really taken off for a reason.
Please, elaborate. Because it's only available in Samsung TVs outside of mobile/pc to my knowledge
U acting like you gonna stop playing on your Xbox console and instead stream it at home on a firestick instead.

What's up with these dudes? :mjlol:
Aren't you the same guy claiming to stream to your vita on a beach or some shyt once upon a time?
These threads still exist :usure:
They keep trying to force this streaming shyt where more and more are playing online and don't want the latency
How fast does your internet need to be to have a stable connection? I get a lag free experience with less than a gig speed. They now have faster and by next gen we'll be seeing 5+gb speeds. And you was all in on Sony streaming. What changed?
Interesting that the company lagging behind in console sales is consistently leading the charge pushing a "console-less" future.
They started this cloud gaming future initiative during the 360 era when they was leading the charge so even your bulshyt is bulshyt :wow:

There must be a Sony version of newsmax :snoop:

They couldn't get the price down to $99 is what they claim but I don't buy that unless it doesn't TOTALLY rely on streaming for how it works. Either way, they could go forward with it next year or later once prices come down and the direction of the consumer is more clear
Soooo…play halo, gears and forza.

Got it
I quoted this so everyone can see the level of comprehension the average Sony Stan possesses :patrice:

You want to play games natively and not be reliant on a good internet connection. I played alot of MLB 23 the show thru cloud(both on mobile and pc), and unfortunately the tech isn't there yet.

On a wired connection, the game was ok, while laggy on a mobile connection.

Streaming dongles won’t ever replace native consoles but it is a really nice supplement/backup option in certain scenarios. I don’t know how you can hate on this if you were ever hyping up the portal

shyt like this makes me really mad google pulled the plug on stadia when they did. I was a faithful stadia gamer all thru the pandemic up until they shutdown. Good thing was, google refunded all the money you spent on games.

So, it felt like a weird experiment is a sense, but it should have kept going.
