Kemp has been trash in the second half of the season for LAD. He was an overweight bum for most of his time as a Brave, they can have him

i just looked up his 2018 stats, he is still .290, 21HR and 85 RBI, Inciarte is .262. 10HR, 65 RBI

Breh a couple things:
1. Ender and Kemp don't play the same position. Ender's a CF, Kemp is a corner outfielder. BTW, Ender is a consistent Gold Glove level defender, Kemp is at best a league average defender
2. Getting rid of Kemp allowed you to make room in the outfield to call Acuña up (who will probably be ROY). Markakis in RF was an All Star for us and has had a career year as well
3. From a financial standpoint we made out like bandits. We unloaded Kemp's massive $21.5 million contract, got back Adrian Gonzalez, Scott Kashmir, Culberson & Brandon McCarthy plus $4.5 million from LAD. We released Kashmir & Gonzalez and ate their contracts (so we'll have that money available for this offseason), Culberson has been great as a utility man and will probably start at SS in the NLDS and McCarthy was one of our best pitchers in the first couple months this season.
So outside of Kemp having better splits than Ender we won that trade in every way imaginable.
I don't think we make the playoffs if Kemp is on the roster based off of all of the moves that happened once we traded him

I used to watch the Pirates have all types of problems with the Braves back in the 90's, shyt would tear my grandfather apart. Hopefully my Dodgers can pay it back for him.
