You're right, it aint much of a stretch because the east is such a toss up. But lets not count out Philly and New Jersey. Both are contingent on how healthy they are.

The Knicks might be sleepers this year if Amare stays hurt.

and I aint counting out Thibs in Chicago yet. They still have strong D.

I feel like Atlanta lost a step. Lou Williams aint gonna take em to the promised land, and neither is Horford. Smith is up for a contract somewhere next year, so I expect him to put up close to career highs this year. Probably shoot a lot more too.

Maybe I was wrong in calling them an 8th seed, but I dont see them as a shoe in for 4.

fact is for the last 4-5 years we've been a top 5 team consistently.. alot better than the knicks , nets , pacers and such.. Pacers get to the 2nd round and go apeshyt like hawks never been there.. Like we werent better last year


And the hilarious thing is we were the 4th seed last year and we've gotten significantly better.. We had zaza, jannero pargo and Willie fukkin green playing huge roles for us..

Replace that with horford , Lou Williams , Devin Harris , + some of the best shooters in the L and I can't see how yall say we not gonna make the playoffs

but since the east for the most part is , i could definitely see us being a top 4 seed
Im just gonna enjoy this season while keeping my expectations low





but next year when ferry pulls some major moves and builds a championship contender

This. I'm excited about the newness of the squad post Joe & post Marvin. I think it'll take a minute for this team to gel, but I think we can be a top 4 squad in the East...wouldn't be surprised if this team missed the playoffs too.
