Beat sounds like it was used in almost every episode of the And 1 Streetball where they wandered around a city.

Listening to these beats now is hilarious and sad at the same time.

A good chunk of it was lazy, copycat wave riding. Some of it was intentional minimalist production to let the artists with real skill differentiate themselves from the rest. Sigel, Busta, Luda, Fab, Jay...you knew what they brought to the table when they make what seemed like a throwaway beat work. Especially when they shape them into anything drunk/high people could clap along to in the club or in the ride.
And I gotta say...that Booty track just shows Benzino was cheeks from the start, and considering recent revelations the name ain't improved any
