You overgeneralize and put people into categories as a response to the initial generalization. There's an utter lack of empathy and Nobammer does not know how to say, "I disagree with you strongly and given this and that I understand how people can sometimes feel this way but it's wrong because of X, Y and Z" if he thinks you're a clown. His initial instincts might be right, but it comes across bad. Nobammer's mostly a good dude but he goes from 0-100 so fast that I'm like
It's interesting because as you get older (I assume you have to be at least 30 repping the OG Paul Atreides) you become more tolerant of differing perspectives and you stop taking that shyt personally.

even why I agree with him. That's why people take issue with him. It's his tone, but it's also funny that people get mad about it because it's the exact same way they talk about other issues. I actually see this from both ways. But there are a lot of people on here who are ideologically like Nobammer who does not get the hate that he does and it's in presentation. This is like that argument I had on HL two years ago when someone claimed the best way to teach someone sometimes is to just yell at them and let them know they're stupid, and I told him most people will not react well to being talked down to. I forgot who it was but people in HL sided with him to agree just because they supported his ideological stance, but it just sounded like poor people skills. But everyone does not have the same tolerance for dealing with things they deem to be nonsensical and I cannot even say he's completely wrong for being annoyed and short. Most progressive-minded people on here have had some dumb ass faux-militant get on their nerves at some point.On a side note, the other reason is he doesn't let "the guys be guys." Sometimes dudes want to shoot the shyt and some misogynistic and homophobic stuff will be said, I'm not saying it's right but it's almost impossible to try to police that when dudes are off the clock. The guy who does comes across as pedantic. I don't think any of this anger is necessary though, and calling a guy like Nobammer a c00n is absurd on it's face.
