Overall this was a fun weekend of wrestling, if I had to grade each event:

NJ has done a terrible job building up the next gen to take over from Tana/Naito/Okada and Kenny/White/Ospreay. They've been desperate for new stars for a few years now, and Gedo's booking is "what if the new 3 musketeers that everyone wants to love are actually fukking goofs who can't handle the pressure and explicitly can not fill the roles we need them to fill". Absolutely baffling shyt.

Finally caught up. Dynasty > Kingdom surprisingly but this was a great weekend of wrestling.
Miyu and Azm went in. Miyu is impeccable
but Azm could fukk around and end up taking that torch one day
Loved Shingo and Takeshyta. Mrs favourite wrestlers... she actually put down her phone for this one.
Douki's elbow bump was savage, hope he's ok. Amazed they replayed it
ZSJ/Shota was good but Shota feels like he's in an awkward spot right now. He needs a good redemption arc from this loss to finally settle down his personality.
Would've bet my Christmas bonus on Athena winning that cup... never mad at Momo getting good things though. That bat strike was to the point as fukk

Didn't see the point in Shibata/Tanahashi - I guess we're coming back to it, but why we doing trailers during the main feature?
Mercedes/Mina was so fukking good. I wasn't fully convinced about Mina in-ring but her focusing on the knee in creative ways for the whole match put her over with me. Mercedes is the fukking best. These two, Athena and Toni are going to give us MAGIC this next few years.
Shota beating Claudio I guess to set up another Mox match but the end felt weird and abrupt after Claudio beat the shyt out of him for the whole thing. Claudio and Shelton both making a habit of playing with their food and losing

Probably alone but I thought Jack and Tsuji was great if the two main events didn't exist it would've been men's MOTN for me.
But Gabe/Kenny WAS MOTN. I knew Gabe had this in him - if anyone was going to pull it out it was Kenny. A few too many CTE specials but it's a Gabe Kidd/Kenny Omega match, what did anyone expect. The table spots Gabe is over as fukk with the Japanese crowd... I'm not convinced he has babyface in him yet so I hope they don't go further than Tweener with him too soon, but they do need to capitalise with stuff like this. It was growing in the G1 and isn't going away. The reaction to that Abdominal Stretch spot 
Zak/Rico was really good but I was done after Kenny tbh. Rico's landing off the 600 was savage. Ending felt a bit rushed, but it was well done.

Wrestle Dynasty was slightly better than WK. That wasn't a very high bar to clear, though.
Omega having a hell of a return match that made an Ace cry.
The Bucks being at their best. This is the kind of stuff they should be doing in AEW.
Mercedes having a streak of great matches.
Stoic Shota recovering from WK with a good performance. But to become the true ace, he must get stabbed. Now that they have Stardom, maybe one of the low card girls could do it.
ZSJ and Ricochet also had a good one, but they had no chance after Omega, and don't know how long ZSJ is gonna last.
Goto is next in line at The New Beginning, but we all know this is part of the humilliation fetish him or Gedo have. This time Goto not only will bring his kids to ringside, but the rest of his family and the ghosts of his ancestors to watch him lose AGAIN.
Naito is DONE, brehs. Hope the rest of the Ingobernables make him eternally Tranquilo before those knees actually collapse in the middle of the ring. Hell, even Nagata, Kojima and Tenzan could move today better than him, and they're older.
