Something was happening behind the scenes we don't know about. They weren't in love anymore, prolly just going through the motions...coulda hit her with 5 mill though

So basically, she looked around for lawyers who were willing to take on her case. Then, her attorneys "try" to formulate a reason why she would be entitled (cough, hack, cough.... ahem.... something got caught in my throat or something...sorry brehs...) to some of it.
Since they weren't married, its an open and shut case, which her lawyers are at least giving it a shot. All they can say is "We tried. Here's your bill for our services."
The thing is the karma.....dude had zero plans on giving her anythang before or after she complained. shyt she knew it too thats why she went for his head. Me? I'd hit her with 5 milly and bounce...id make that back in interest and i've been obviously blessed enough. You gotta really have shytted on me for me to live with you a decade, have a biz and all with you then bounce and stash dust on the islands like

My best friend from college been a lawyer for going on 17 years, I asked him about this and he basically it's called cohabitation laws. By NJ Law this cat is screwed for 3 reasons:
She was with him for a decade she does not get alimony but palimony, which she is entitled to and can request.
If he does not take custody of the child he will be paying hefty child support fees.
They co-owned a business meaning that they were financially dependent on each other and therefore linked together in that way. This is the strongest argument
In short, this is going to go to court eventually and there is a good chance she is going to walk away with 20-30% of his winnings after taxes.
He should have mediated this when he won the money.

True but they owned a business and he busted in her raw and had a kid, no court is gonna let this woman leave empty handed, especially a liberal state like NJ. He should have smartened up, keep in mind this dude could end up flat broke in the worst case scenario and back at the grocery store in a year or so.
