People can go far off image alone. She's got that tumblr/otaku vibe going for her now and Japan loves that look and they love Hip-Hop. Can't be mad at her marketing herself like this and getting that bread.

Girly voice aside (yeah, I know lol) she's a dope rapper. I'd listen to more female rappers if they had Nitty's skill level.
Her and Nicki man. They're both in that terrible spot of having to selling their beauty in order to get people to notice them while also sometimes being ignored for being dope. Female rappers get stuck in that quandary a lot and the ones who we don't think are pretty and give them that validation get ignored no matter how nice they are

I liked Cassette Chronicles Nitty, but I wasn't really a fan of the music transition that paralleled the physical one.

She's on her hippy shyt breh. Her album was called the art of chill so there you go. It's a digable planets vibe she's got while also talking about some shyt that only women can relate to or fathers, which I appreciate although i know those joints aren't for me

That's the thing. I actually don't mind hippy shyt at all, it's hippy shyt + bad beats/bad music that's truly unbearable.
To me it's the difference between Control System and These Days...
The aura and intention is somewhat the same, but one is executed very well and the other isn't, which just makes These Days annoying as hell to listen to.
I'll still give Nitty another spin though. I hopped off the train too quick probably, but the last few vids I saw were either trippy or had sub-par-New-York-rapper-who-only-cares-about-bars production.
