I don’t think that Black people were campaigning to get anyone over here, what happened was when civil rights laws happened they looked at all racial biased laws.

A Black man of power in Mississippi in the 1880s shouldn't have been focused on Chinese rights my guy I think there were ALOT more pertinent issues at hand. One of those being how he and his entire race were about to get the floor pulled out from under them for the next century(and counting) and be subject to outright terrorism and discrimination
