Surprised me thought he peaked with that 40k estimation .

After skimming the album I have no desire to listen to his music again though .

If shyt would have come out 10 years ago or whatever after billets ain't got no names 3 it could have been different

Whats a "flop" depends on the artist, you should know that. If Drake does 60k 1st week, issa flop, but for someone like Nip, its decent/expected numbers Nip aint that big to be expecting 100k out the gate lol.

outside of trolls and stans, most people wouldn't have the same expectations for a national radio play artist as someone who's basically just being streamed. no one with sense would judge someone like Nip, Currensy, Gibbs, etc against numbers/expectations for artists like Kendrick, Cole, Drake, Migos, Future...or even someone like Uzi who had multiple big singles

Issa fact tho. A teckashi 69 is gonna be expected to sell more than a Nipsey Hussle because 69 is way more popular and has gotten more spins, streams, YouTube views etc that Nipsey in 6months than Nip has in his whole career. shyt just the video for Kooda has 88M views, that one video has more views than every Nipsey Hussle video you can find combined lol. I’m a huge fan of Nip but I’m keeping it a buck.

Answer this, if the Young Gunz and Lil Wayne drop an album today, both do 60k first week, who flopped and who had GREAT numbers?? Or did both flop in your opinion?
