I always thought it was the other way around. I thought the first disc would've started with "Fetus" or "Belly Button Window" and concluded with "Undying Love". Then the second disc begins with "Amongst Kings".

The orig8nal version had the mentions of abortion and domestic violence in the first verse. Nas changed it for lost tapes out of respect for his mother who past.

Talk of NY was from Street's Disciple. I was always under the impression that the tracks from the Nasdaq Dow Jones sessions were Don't Body Yaself, I Already Know, Life's Gone Low, and Death Anniversary. All are worth, IMO, of official release.

According to Salaam Remi, Street's Disciple was supposed to be a triple disc. I think Nas was wanting each disc to represent different seasons. There were early tracklists that had the Nas alter Scarlett listed as Winter. One of the discs was supposed to be full of dusty, street records.

See thats the album planning information that I wish we had more access to. It would be really interesting to hear how that stuff was intended to be.

Did anyone get this exclusive in their "NaStradmaus" disc? It was a grey CD with only one song. Circut City had those NaS exclusives something crazy. The "I Am NaStradamus" Era doesn't get is proper props. NaS was bodying sh!t.

Streets Disciple was originally a double disc, then Nas pushed it back & announced that it'll be a single disc....then pushed it back 2 more months & changed it back to a double disc.

Scrapping an album or pushing it back after it leaks in hindsight was dumb as hell. Especially pre-internet. Like 1% of the fans actually hear leaks. If people say its trash, sure go back and change it but if people fukk with it, just hurry up and release it...
