Because most people on here are acting like the guy didn't put himself in so many precarious situations over the yrs, that's why. When I saw the headlines, I wasn't surprised like most of these people on here.

I think you’re completely missing the point. Irrespective of how he moved in the streets the guys music and philanthropy touched people profoundly. That’s the essence of grieving. Whether or not his murder is surprising is another matter for another time.

I am not saying people should say bad things about him, but this has happened so many times and people do the same damn thing all the time, it's so predictable. They don't learn from anything and they later move on to doing the same stupid shenanigans again.

There are some posts on this thread talking about a couple of incidents he had in front of the same store before, that was definitely foreshadowing for what happened yesterday.

I don’t disagree with you, but again when people die friends and family compartmentalize, they grieve the good times and the legacy in the immediate aftermath. They don’t say “I ain’t surprised that dude got blasted because he lived reckless.” This is basic human nature.
