Typical sh!t. For real, typical sh!t. This is what I was saying about culture in these communities, really subculture. I ain't gonna say names, let that female poster keep her head in the sand, but this sh!t is soooooo typical. And it is absolutely a culture or subculture run amok. Its infuriating. Always the same sh!t, he disrespected me, my girl was disrespected, he bumped me, that and "feel me" said 100 times while justifying why nonsensical violence is committed and accepted as normal behavior.

Ok -- what about the killings in other Black cultures? All of the globe - on the continent? The Caribbean? Killing for whatever reason -- due to internal issues, tribalism or whatever. Way more than in Black communities BTW - what's the reason? Can you explain?

You gonna blame their culture and community? Or continue to try to act like this is our culture and communities as Black Americans? Also, again you have no clue about Black communties -- just what you hear or think -- or are led to believe. Or what you listen to in music -- which is fake.

Quoted for truth. The more involved you are the more likely you are to die, but anyone who has ever been involved can be a target.
Think about the most community involved rappers of all time:
Pac, Jay-Z, MC Hammer, and Nipsey.

Jay more underground and don't speak about it but the others was open with it. Pac- dead, Nips- dead, Hammer- broke and they pretty much banned him from hip hop. Let's be real, this is the typical. They kill our leaders. You can live for 100 years if you stuck on ignorant with this type of influence.

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
Out of all the rap nikkas to get killed like this, would’ve never thought it would be breh...never even heard of him havin any serious beef with anyone outside of the reporter bs and that wasn’t serious.

Seemed like a positive dude. Not familiar with gang politics in LA, would he have had somethin in his past that caught up with him? Not sayin he did idk like I said earlier, just trying to make sense of it but with a lot of street shyt even if cats clean up mfs will still not forget the past especially if the person their after is doin well for themselves and we’ve all seen these type of stories happen where a person would be tryin to get right and crab nikkas not let old shyt go...

Or even just bein associated with someone who had some dirt. As someone who had a fukked up past bein young and dumb with this gang shyt, I still can’t never be 100% comfortable when I’m out and about because who knows if mfs I got into with years, over a decade ago still holding grudges and waiting for a chance to catch a nikka in traffic.

Could be just a clout chasing young fakkit, who knows but RIP to the gawd and this be another lesson on why this street shyt shouldn’t be glorified at all unless you plan to be all in with it. Some of these nikkas don’t care what type of wave you on, all they see a chance to get what they’re after whether it be infamy, a come up, revenge or whatever...

This is on point but I got two things I gotta get off my chest:

1)this makes all these fronting ass, faking ass rappers even more wack. nikkas like DaBaby, a nikka whose music I've enjoyed as well, but goes out of his way to talk about killing a nikka he didn't even kill. I've been saying it for months about how corny his angle is, nikkas are rapping and talking about killing people like it's a Call of Duty game, but even moreso any nikka from that cloth can read he had no emotional attachment to the shyt from jump because he didn't do it...

I've called out cats in real life for this (the acting, not the specific Baby shyt). This shyt with Nip just magnifies how pissed off I get when these actors take precedent in hip hop...

2)most importantly, everyone would do wise to remember all lives lost affect somebody. People in here throwing terms around like "bytch ass nikkas" and wishing hate on the killer, but for a fact you know this is part of the potential when you still engage in street affairs. I don't know how deeply Nip still engaged but I know he didn't dissociate himself...

..........

I'm feeling this Nip shyt too because his messaging was backed by actions. But anyone who has lost someone like this, has felt the emotions before. My heart goes out to all the affected. Nip's life is neither more important nor less important than anyone else's. As a community we have to work on severing ourselves from this glorification of criminal subject matter that makes these CRACKERS rich, lining they pockets while they have no cate or no fear as to the reality on the ground...

I don't have all the answers but we, and that absolutely means myself, we have to figure out how to change the status quo messaging of our music (glorification of violence)!

a lot of coli suburban brehs dont understand
that once ur in the streets you can never fully distance urself from that shyt

its nikkas in their 40s and 50s that used to bang in the 80s still getting killed

The last part you said is very true, the first part isn't. This isn't the topic for it, and I'd LOVE the opportunity to give specifics, because it isn't easy. Not by a long shot. But its doable. You have to surround yourself with the right people, the right energy, and be strong enough to know you're extending your life. As sad as it is to say given Nip's death, the right energy isn't still associating with active street nikkas. It just isn't...

It's wild to me how both Nipsey and X were murdered in broad daylight. Right when both of them had achieved enlightenment. Bringing people together while preaching positivity and empowerment. Had their bodies left on display for the world to see. Sad but not even surprising.

But the bottomline is that both of them left this world at peace with themselves....and that's what matters most. You can always be redeemed....it's never too late to change. This shouldn't scare you from doing the same. Nipsey started a movement and it doesn't mean it has to end now. Nipsey said himself in that Tariq interview. If he gets taken out for the cause, ride for him. He was willing to die for what he stood for.
