I doubt it's true, just like 90% of what we heard immediately following word of Nipsey's untimely passing. But you never know. The following link catalogues LA and surrounding homicides. I check it out every now and then out of curiosity. Following Nipsey's homicide report on that page, there are three other Black men who were murdered one of whom was killed in Compton. I point out Compton cuz I thought the rumors indicated the retaliatory killings were in Los Angeles.

Have they been lying or did a bunch of people on social media spread rumors about what they heard or what they think happened? Hypothetically even if they were lying, all these other armchair conspiracy types aren't helping the situation. We had dudes on here from out there saying they heard from sources that it was a rival neighborhood and that turned out to be wrong. The Black Alex Jones types were saying it was a government hit before 60s cleared up the rumors on social media identifying the shooter as one of their own. Tariq was talking about white vans and how he's cautious cuz they're after him and how there's always a death of someone major right after tactical training by law enforcement in California.
All this speculation is just noise with no legitimate substance whatsoever.
