Nipsey was a different type of dude. Nothing average or regular about him at all. Dude was seriously one of a kind. Natural born go getter. That's what makes this extra tragic. He wasn't a knucklehead or anything. He was really trying to uplift his community

RIP Nipsey

From nyc. But i legit cried over this. Not this brother:snoop:

i dropped a few tears and i didn't even know why. i guess watching him and seeing a young black man trying to be a beacon of light and hope get slaughtered is making me look at my own reality. if a nikka can't win and help his own people then what the fukk can we do? like...what the fukk do they want black people to do here?

i got hopes and ambition like a muthafukka and nipsey was the only new nikka in hip hop that i could even say i admired and truly respected. they can just take us out like it's nothing. you don't hear nobody from no other races that's entertainers just get fukked over like that. especially people that's trying to truly uplift where they're from while remaining true to themselves. breh just was authentic and i'm so disgusted. however...this isn't a time to cower away and blame our community or hip hop. blame the institutions and governments that design our lives to be filled with vengeance, retaliation and retribution as a way of life. i'm not even gonna get into these numbers and the dr. sebi shyt but i got a strong feeling something ain't right with that either...real strong.

RIP

Not going to lie but I never really got into his music, no real reason but I always remembered a clip I seen of him kickin' jewels on the block before he blew up, words of unity, focus but militant and him talkin for 15 minutes was a enough for me to believe in him and what he represented

shyts too much out here
