It's crazy cuz I'm usually like that now that's all I can listen to.. It'll start wit one song or album then it goes on for hrs.. I had all his mixtapes since Vol 2 downloaded but now I only stream em.. shyt sad even speaking on itI thought I was the only one who still can’t listen to his music since he passed

I just recently gave Nip a break. He was all I listened to since his passing. Him and Mac were on my playlist heavy. I took a break just to hear other albums dropping. It was sadness at first then later it turned into anger like I just still can't believe this man lost his life over some fukking words. Everytime Lauren posts something about him on IG it doesn't get any easier to deal with. When I see his children I just think about how Kross will barely remember his father and Emani trying to go back to doing regular kid stuff without her father. That's what hurts the most the real people that loved and cared for this man have to live without him because of a peice of shyt that should've just taken his own damn life.

This shyt raised me so I can never drop it. Unfortunately, Nipsey’s death was merely a reminder of how much more work we need to do collectively as Black people to ensure the next generations don’t have to deal with this.
But brehs, am I the only one that noticed that Victory Lap and All Eyez On Me look eerily similar? Same color scheme with the all black background....it’s almost like I want them to do some Makaveli shyt for his first posthumous album. Smfh I’m blown I even gotta use posthumous and Nipsey’s music in the same sentence.

I will never stop enjoying rap, certainly I will always listen to the shyt I grew up on etc
But in terms of being a FAN... in 2019...aint no more fandom... You get to a certain age, and there's a disconnect... Generation gap if you will
I'll nod my head to a dope future hook or migos beat etc. But to be a fan? Can't be a fan if you don't have a favourite rapper... Someone to be excited about... Someone whose music you anticipate.. Music you connect with
