This is what Im thinking..
Nip telling him about the paper work that someone might have on him.
Eric (feeling disrespected) asks Nip if he ever snitched.
Nip simply replying with be careful....
Maybe Eric took that as a threat, kind of when you tell someone to walk light after having words with him.
Feeling disrespected on top of feeling like your life is being threatened and just like that we lose Nip.
All over what seems like Nip actually trying to look out for him.

Yeah.nip was hella stoic with his shyt..only spoke about shyt when asked about it and still was respectful with it..
