His music really got me through periods in my life when I felt like shyt about the situations I was in. Even recently this week I woke up with his music in my head and it got me going on a positive note for the day. On a stay strong and stay positive vibe. The get off your ass and take care of your responsibilities type of motivation that I need/needed to hear. So many wise words and wisdom coming from this brotha. I vouch for him on that. On this site over the years I have always said that he was/is my favorite artist. He was more than just a rapper in my opinion. There was a lot of game and information in his lyrics that I feel everyone can relate to. Today is a very depressing day for me. Everybody who really fuxed with Nip aka Pastor Nipsey stay strong y'all and don't let him be forgotten. It might be a very long time before we see another figure in rap/hip-hop like him.

I tried, I tried but to see people, particularly other black people celebrating the loss of a good young brother who was doing good in his community is sickening, disgusting, and just flat out wrong.
