On some real shyt I ain’t even listened to any ignorant music since Nipsey passed. It ain’t like I was a big fan of ignorant rap to begin with but I think I’m officially off that phase.
Nipsey had some street shyt but it wasn’t ignorant with it, I hope that makes sense. Speaking about the reality of the streets isn’t ignorant contrary to what’s cacs and protected c00ns think.. kind of how Pac spoke about streets and shyt. He didn’t spend all his time flexing on a song and shyt. He spent most of time telling u to grind and don’t stop. That what he preached.
I just listened to that new Troy ave song and I was disgusted. Seeing him rap about all that expensive shyt was a turn off. All them quickly depreciating diamond necklaces.
Nip just was different. He even looked at his chains as an investment. He spoke about it in a song before. He had some diamonds in his necklace for style and accent purposes but not a whole lot. You see how thick (
