That documentary about his Journey to buy that store center is unwatchable at this point.

I'm not even the type to shed tears (and I haven't) but the whole thing is just cruel to me. I know real life ain't a Disney movie but goddamn. You win the game of Life and somehow u still end up losing.

Now it's looking like it wasn't even a hate situation and was simply just a crazy breh who didn't take his meds (or that could just be him using that as a defense but... Truthfully he has the medical records and past to support it unfortunately)

Nah, Nipsey still won. He’s left a foundation to achieve what he envisioned before leaving us. :francis:

Just read these words breh's. Just read em :wow:.......Let em marinate

What is he like?
Live from the city of the three strikes
Offer terrible advice but it seem right
When you're sticking to the script, fukk a rewrite
What it is he like?
Pick a tail, shoot a box, catch a chief flight
He got married to the game, he don't need rice
Sold his soul to the streets, he don't need Christ
But what it is he like?
All these rats in this race for a cheese slice
Need to pass on the safe for at least like
Six digits and his nikkas ain't gon' eat right
But what is he like?
Flat broke, got him feeling he don't need life
Split screen, to the left is police lights
To the right, visualizing his dream life
But what is he like?
He gon' have to be willing to leave like
Half his blood on the cross like he Jes' Christ
All the love that he lost, that's a cheap price
But what is he like?
nikkas can't shine like these lights
‘Cause nikkas ain't grind like he right?
But shyt ain't even always what it seem, right?

I remember the first time I ever heard of nip. Some cambodian dude worked with me and he was from LA too. He kept telling me about this dude "nipsey hussle"... He kept going on & on about him even at lunch. He gave me his background and everything. From there I always checked his music. He had the business acumen of a master p and he was universally respected. I keep going back to his grammy interview where he kept reiterating Victory Lap was his debut, but thru his mixtapes and street albums we saw him grow.

Its mutually inclusive but his death reminds me a lot of Sean Taylor. Getting taken out even before you reached the prime but everyone saw the potential all time greatness with both of them. I feel so sorry for his children.. Cant really get the images of him getting gunned down out of my head...So tragic...
