I remember Pac died, I didn't feel that shyt for like 7 months. But I was in the midst of drama back then. I had to come back to mississippi and was blankfacing life. Saw that "Until the End of Time" video for the first time and cracked.

it's literally been like somebody snuffed all the light and hope out of the world. Like an actual superhero died. This cat was singlehandedly saving as many people as he could.
I don't wanna think about how many younger cats was like "Nip made it out, plus he SHOWING AND TELLING US how to make it out. He not just telling us to hustle or work harder! He making ways for us to make it! We can do this too! It don't matter where we from!"
How the shyt go? "I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way."

The thing is he was only 33 so who knows what more of an impact he could've had if he lived even 20 more years.

Gonna keep it a stack ... if you go and revisit Nips music from the start til the transition from this world ... he predicted ALL of this... low key cleverly interwoven in the bars ... the retrospective is tragically amazing and spooky ... if you can’t fully grasp it in your sober conscious mind , you can take a drink or blow a lil something , and you’ll be amazed at how Nip was prepping everyone for this ...

to wrap your head around...I was legit not a fan of him like that but i respected everything about him. He was one of the least problematic rappers in this generation. I mean every now and then he would make the news for some fukkery but it wasn’t anything major. He just stayed to himself and just helped his people.
When it comes to his murder, i’m starting to get a very Malcolm X feel to it. I’m not really a conspiracy theorist like that...but shyt ain’t adding up on this...

Haven't been on the Coli for awhile, work n family life taking most of my time when i heard the news on sunday i couldnt believe it ... when i heard he got shot i was like ok he'll pull through then my nephew sent me the NBC article .. i was stuck im 39 i was around when biggie and pac got killed but this is affecting me in a whole different way.. Nipsey was actually doing stuff n the hood and you saw how many people it affected .Makes me want to grind harder. Once my nephew and i heard what happened , we placed a huge order at The Marathon store thats the least we can do.
